Visit the SACS Accreditation site for the University of Florida.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) is a private, non-profit, voluntary organization founded in 1895 in Atlanta, Georgia. The mission of SACS is the improvement of Education in the South through accreditation. There are five other private regional accrediting associations that provide similar services to the other regions of the United States. The SACS Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) is the recognized regional accrediting body in the eleven U.S. Southern states and in Latin America for those institutions of higher education that award associate, baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degrees.
All degree programs within MSE are accredited
through the University of Florida’s accreditation by SACSCOC. Detailed
