EDGE

Electronic Delivery of Graduate Engineering (EDGE) is provided for the graduate student who cannot participate in on-campus classes. The requirements are the same as for any other graduate degree, but courses are offered via streaming video and download to your machine for offline viewing. Application Process

To be eligible for regular admission to the graduate program within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the applicant must hold a B.S. in an appropriate major.

Admission Requirements

  • Admission is based on the entire graduate application.
  • Strong background in engineering or science with at least a B average (GPA=3.0/4.0) for all upper-division undergraduate coursework.
  • GRE scores that are acceptable to the MSE Department.
  • 3 letters of recommendation.
  • A short statement of purpose.
