Supervisory Committee

Each student must choose a supervisory committee by the end of their second term or when they have completed 12 credit hours. You will not be able to pre-register for a third term unless your supervisory committee has been formed. The Graduate Council may deny a degree to any person who has failed to comply with this regulation at the proper time.

In order to have a committee formed you must provide in writing with the faculty information and the degree you are obtaining to the Academic Services Office. Changes in your committee after it is formed must also be made by written notice. Both parties that are to be removed/added must send the Academic Services Office written verification; memo, email, etc., that they are willing to be removed/added from your committee. Supervisory committees cannot be changed in the semester you graduate.
