First Open House

On May 17th, UF MSE hosted its first UF MSE Open House for incoming freshmen who've been accepted to the College of Engineering. Over 30 students came along with their families and spent a fun afternoon in the department learning more about Materials Science and Engineering. The students participated in hands-on activities, toured our labs with their families, met with our faculty, and enjoyed a pizza dinner. The feedback was extremely positive, and we hope everyone had a great time. We look forward to our next Open House event on June 28th and meeting the next group of incoming freshmen!
