Step 6: Application Checklist

Thank you for applying to the University of Florida Materials Science Department. For your convenience, we have provided this Application Checklist. Please make sure that you have completed all of the necessary forms and mailed the appropriate paperwork before the application deadline.

I. Office of Admissions

The following must be submitted to the University of Florida Office of Admissions from ETS using the following codes:

• Official GRE score reports:
    Institution: 5812
    Department: 1403
• Official TOEFL score reports:
    Institution: 5812
    Department: 73
• TSE:
  Institution: 5812
  (Optional exam; students will be required to take the TSE thier first semester if this hasn't already been done prior to admission)

II. Materials Science Department

The following must be completed and mailed to the UF Materials Science Department:

• Two official transcripts from all schools attended
• Copy of GRE score reports from ETS
• Copy of TOEFL score reports from ETS
• University of Florida Certificate of Financial Responsibility

The following must be completed and submitted online:

• Three Letters of Recommendation
• Statement of purpose
• Department of Materials Science Information Sheet
