EDGE

EDGE is provided for the graduate student who cannot participate in on-campus classes. The requirements are the same as for any other graduate degree, but courses are offered via streaming video and download to your machine for offline viewing. For more information on EDGE, visit their website.

Application Process

  • Before applying, review the graduate program requirements at our prospective graduate student page.
  • In addition, you should view the UF EDGE admissions information which can be found on-line at the UF EDGE admissions page
  • To complete the graduate application process follow steps 1-4 from our website at: http://www.mse.ufl.edu/prospective/application/graduate.php
  • All application materials must be sent to the Department
  • Once complete, your graduate application file will be reviewed by the Department and a letter will be sent to you electronically regarding the admission decision.

To be eligible for regular admission to the graduate program within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the applicant must hold a B.S. in an appropriate major.
